coincidenze inquietanti in questo video "natalizio"...
comunque sfrutto il consiglio di felson per augurare a tutti i canebagnati in giro un buon natale (che ne abbiamo tutti bisogno)...
In studio dopo i massimo volume, in occasione della trasferta emiliana ("winter version"): jaguar / electronic scales (in minilive radioacustico) + breve intervista + calci all'amplificatore...

PAOLO SAPORITI | BALCONY TV | DUBLIN
"A somber acoustic guitar intro welcomes you into a world of woody instrumentation and bizarre but interesting production. Just Let It Happen is the latest offering from Italian Folk singer Paolo Saporiti. For those yet to be charmed by his dulcet tones, Paolo’s singing voice could be described as having the ponderous style of the ever-neurotic Nick Cave but transposed an octave higher. It also seems he is rather fond of the shamefully underused cello. It is used judiciously throughout this album and gives a natural acoustic quality so lacking in modern music.
There is also driving, purposeful guitar playing on here, especially ‘Like A Dog’ which I imagine is how Metallica might sound during a power cut. It is not what you would expect from an acoustic/folk singer but Saporiti seems to deliberately stray from the obvious and much credit to him for it. Behind the music there is also some crazy electronic crackling and buzzing. Imagine R2D2 sending a fax through a dial up modem and you will have an idea of the twisted but beautiful sounds on offer.
It really is an interesting piece of work with haunting soundscapes and experimental production throughout. For example, the main melody in ‘The Last Man On Earth’ is so heavily distorted that it is unclear what instrument is being heard. It could easily be whale song played through an effects pedal, but it all sounds so intriguing, does it even matter?"
